About the Role

As a Bilingual Phlebotomist at Labcorp, you'll be at the front line of patient care, performing venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures with professionalism and compassion. Your bilingual abilities—particularly Spanish fluency—make you a valuable member of our team, enabling direct communication with Spanish-speaking patients and enhancing their clinical experience. You'll work in a professional laboratory setting, managing specimen collection with precision and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

What You'll Do

• Collect blood and other specimens from patients using proper venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
• Communicate clearly with patients in English and Spanish before, during, and after procedures
• Label, organize, and prepare specimens for transport to the laboratory
• Maintain accurate patient records and collection documentation
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
• Ensure a welcoming, comfortable environment for patients of all backgrounds

Who We're Looking For

• Current phlebotomy certification or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated proficiency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy laboratory setting
• Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills
• Valid identification and ability to comply with background screening requirements
