Lead IT Systems Analyst – Technical Product Owner (Remote, US)

Lumen seeks a Lead IT Systems Analyst and Technical Product Owner to drive strategic digital product development supporting customers and partners across the United States. This full-time role combines product ownership, technical systems analysis, and AI-assisted product management to accelerate digital innovation, modernize customer-facing platforms, and deliver measurable enterprise value.

Position Summary

You will serve as the central strategic link between business stakeholders, product leadership, user experience design, technical architecture, and engineering delivery teams. In this position, you'll own the product roadmap and backlog for key digital initiatives, translating business priorities into clear, measurable requirements and technical solutions. Your focus will include modernizing and optimizing customer-facing digital platforms built on contemporary cloud-based digital experience technology, ensuring every customer interaction reflects excellence in design, performance, and business value. You'll champion the adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning-powered techniques to enhance requirements analysis, backlog management, prioritization methodology, delivery planning, and strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the product backlog and technical roadmap for digital platform initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with corporate objectives and measurable customer value delivery.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across business stakeholders, product management, design leadership, technical architecture, and engineering teams to define product vision, feature prioritization, and user requirements.
• Develop comprehensive requirements documentation, acceptance criteria, and success metrics that translate business strategy into actionable engineering tasks.
• Lead product delivery coordination across geographically distributed teams by clarifying requirements, identifying and managing dependencies, and maintaining stakeholder alignment throughout delivery cycles.
• Integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning-powered insights into requirements analysis, backlog optimization, prioritization frameworks, delivery planning, and strategic decision-making.
• Guide technology modernization initiatives that ensure digital platforms remain scalable, resilient, and optimized for customer experience and business performance.
• Apply quantitative analysis, customer research, behavioral insights, and AI-generated recommendations to identify improvement opportunities, validate product decisions, and continuously optimize platform performance.
• Promote and institutionalize Agile methodologies, lean product practices, and systematic process improvement across all product delivery functions.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Systems Analysis, or closely related disciplines, with a proven track record of successfully delivering digital products, web properties, or customer-engaged digital experiences.
• Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder relationship management, cross-functional communication, and matrix leadership, with proven ability to influence and align business, product, design, infrastructure, and engineering teams across organizational boundaries.
• Hands-on experience managing product backlogs, technical roadmaps, requirement prioritization, and Agile delivery cycles in enterprise product environments.
• Strong ability to translate business strategy, market opportunities, and customer needs into concrete technical requirements, architectural solutions, and quantifiable business outcomes.
• Analytical mindset with demonstrated competency in data-driven decision making, root cause analysis, and outcome measurement.
• Track record of managing large-scale digital platform modernization, enterprise content management systems, customer experience optimization, or comparable digital transformation programs.
• Familiarity with enterprise digital experience platforms, particularly Adobe Experience Manager or Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service; equivalent enterprise platform experience is valued.
• Experience leading, influencing, or coordinating globally distributed development teams and cross-organizational stakeholder groups.
• Working familiarity with contemporary AI-powered productivity tools, advanced analytics capabilities, experimentation frameworks, personalization technologies, or AI-augmented product management methodologies.
