Snr Studio Manager

Brandtech+ is hiring a full-time Senior Studio Manager to lead resource operations at our Bogotá, Colombia production hub, stewarding capacity planning and team scheduling across a distributed creative studio network serving multiple North American and Colombian locations.

What This Role Involves

You will manage the operational foundation of a 39-person production facility embedded within a healthcare education organization. Working closely with the U.S.-based Program Director, you'll own the end-to-end resource function: forecasting demand, allocating talent across disciplines and geographies, monitoring utilization against service level agreements, and proactively flagging capacity risks before they threaten project delivery. Your decisions shape how the studio deploys creative, production, video, and CRM resources across simultaneous client campaigns and briefs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current insight into studio capacity, active workload distribution, and incoming pipeline demand across all locations and disciplines
• Execute resource allocation in partnership with the Program Director, matching creative, production, CRM, and video talent to briefs while protecting SLAs and team wellbeing
• Manage freelancer recruitment, onboarding certification on client brand standards, and flex-workforce deployment during peak demand cycles
• Operate and maintain resource scheduling within OMG (internal management platform), ensuring task-to-talent assignments reflect skill match, availability, and project priority
• Track and analyze utilization metrics; identify over- and under-capacity trends and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with project managers to resolve scheduling conflicts, manage resource dependencies, and eliminate bottlenecks
• Compile utilization data and demand forecasts for quarterly business reviews and strategic planning cycles
• Oversee new-hire onboarding, including system access provisioning and schedule integration
• Develop and maintain a skills matrix documenting team capabilities for informed resource decisions

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in resource management, creative operations, or traffic coordination within production, creative, or marketing agencies
• Working proficiency with resource planning and project management platforms (OMG, Workfront, Smartsheet, or equivalent)
• Strong analytical capabilities: comfortable with utilization data, capacity modeling, and demand forecasting
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for managing competing priorities across multiple teams and geographies
• Proven track record coordinating work across distributed teams and different time zones
• Professional fluency in English; Spanish language skills are a significant advantage for the Bogotá position
• Proactive, process-oriented approach to identifying operational constraints and resolving them before they cascade
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflow and resource management tools; willingness to develop proficiency with OMG's AI-assist features
