Join Power Factors as a Principal Implementation Engineer in a fully remote position based in Brossard, Quebec, Canada. We're seeking an experienced implementation leader to drive successful client deployments and technical strategy execution.
The Opportunity
As Principal Implementation Engineer at Power Factors, you'll lead the design, deployment, and optimization of complex implementations for our enterprise clients. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering, where you'll architect solutions, mentor implementation teams, and serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the client lifecycle. You'll shape how Power Factors delivers value to organizations across the region and beyond, working remotely with flexibility to collaborate across time zones.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects, from requirements gathering through post-launch optimization
- Design technical solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring scalability and compliance with industry standards
- Mentor and coordinate implementation teams, conducting code reviews and establishing best practices
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide creative problem-solving across deployments
- Document architecture decisions and maintain comprehensive implementation knowledge bases
- Communicate technical progress and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to enhance implementation capabilities
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of implementation engineering or software deployment experience
- Proven track record leading large-scale technical projects from conception to production
- Strong expertise in system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and modern development practices
- Excellent communication skills—equally comfortable explaining technical concepts to executives and engineers
- Experience mentoring technical teams and establishing engineering standards
- Self-directed, with ability to prioritize independently in a remote environment
- Problem-solving mindset and comfort working across diverse technology stacks
