Join Popmenu as an Account Executive based in Chicago, Illinois, serving customers across the United States in our fully remote role. This is a full-time position for a driven sales professional ready to grow revenue and build lasting client relationships in the restaurant technology space.

About This Position

As an Account Executive at Popmenu, you'll lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, managing a pipeline of restaurant operators and venue owners who are ready to transform their digital presence. You'll be the trusted advisor helping independent restaurants and multi-unit operators understand how Popmenu's technology drives loyalty, online ordering, and customer engagement. Working remotely from Chicago, you'll own your territory and the relationships that drive our growth.

Core Duties

• Identify and qualify restaurant prospects through outbound prospecting, research, and networking
• Conduct discovery calls and demos tailored to each prospect's operational challenges
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, forecasting accurately and closing deals on schedule
• Negotiate contracts, handle objections, and guide customers through onboarding
• Maintain detailed customer records and activity logs in our CRM system
• Collaborate with our sales team, customer success team, and leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and renewals
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Requirements

• Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally selling to restaurants, hospitality, or small business
• Strong communication skills—the ability to listen, explain, and persuade clearly
• Comfort with CRM platforms and sales processes; experience with Salesforce a plus
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Ability to prioritize multiple prospects and manage your time effectively
• Basic understanding of restaurant operations or technology adoption in the food service industry is helpful
