Financial Planner

Platzi is seeking a Financial Planner to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. As a full-time Financial Planner, you'll help clients and stakeholders build sustainable financial strategies in an organization transforming education and career opportunities across Latin America.

Core Duties

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans aligned with company strategy and multi-year objectives
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to guide decision-making across departments
• Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate business opportunities and risks
• Monitor cash flow, spending patterns, and financial performance against established targets
• Collaborate with department heads to understand needs, constraints, and priorities
• Present financial insights and recommendations to leadership in clear, actionable formats
• Support long-term strategic planning and capital allocation decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• Demonstrated experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or equivalent analytical role
• Strong proficiency with financial modeling tools and spreadsheet software
• Excellent communication skills to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Professional Spanish and English language abilities
