Junior Teamleiter Last Mile Logistik (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Junior Team Leader for their last-mile distribution hub in Frankfurt an der Oder, Brandenburg. In this role, you will:

• Lead, recruit, and coach a team of delivery drivers to success, including organizing team-building events to strengthen cohesion
• Manage shift schedules, onboarding, and ongoing development of drivers to ensure smooth daily operations
• Oversee incoming deliveries of pre-sorted goods, ensuring accuracy and quickly organizing additional shipments when needed
• Monitor operational KPIs continuously to maintain efficient processes while prioritizing safety standards
• Collaborate closely with customer success teams, the central warehouse, and other distribution hubs to ensure customer satisfaction
• Coordinate timely departures to meet promised delivery windows for customers
• Contribute ideas across various areas including electric vehicle maintenance coordination, hub layout optimization, and driver recruitment to support growth and process improvement

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or vocational training in logistics, retail, or a related field
• Initial experience leading teams, either professionally or through coaching other successful teams
• Fluent German and basic English language skills
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Strong communication skills and confident presence
• Data-driven decision-making approach based on numbers and facts
