Working Student – IT Asset & Stock Management (x/f/m)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthtech organization seeking a Working Student in IT Asset & Stock Management to support their IT operations in Berlin. This on-site position combines inventory management with hands-on technical support in a dynamic international environment.

IT Stock and Asset Management (approximately 70%)

• Manage the site's IT stock, including receiving, checking, labelling and storing laptops, smartphones and accessories
• Keep the inventory up to date in the asset management tool and ensure the accuracy of serial numbers, assignments and statuses
• Follow the full equipment lifecycle, including assignment, return, loan, vendor repair, refurbishment and recycling
• Run periodic physical inventories and consistency checks between physical stock and the asset management tool
• Monitor stock levels, flag replenishment thresholds and contribute to supplier orders
• Prepare devices, including mobile device management enrollment, standard configuration and accessory kits
• Propose improvements to stock processes, documentation, automation and key performance indicators

On-site Support (approximately 30%)

• Support onboarding and offboarding by preparing, handing over and recovering equipment for joiners and leavers
• Run the IT support corner as a physical point of contact for employees
• Manage meeting room hardware by testing, updating and replacing equipment
• Handle level 1 requests and incidents, including basic diagnosis and application access, and escalate to level 2 when needed
• Identify recurring requests and contribute to continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled full-time at a university, ideally studying IT Systems Management, IT Management, Applied IT or a related field
• Rigorous, organized and service-oriented, with good interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with Windows, macOS, iOS and Android
• Ability to prioritize tasks while working autonomously and as part of a team
• Fluent in German and English
• Able to work on-site in Berlin and handle equipment weighing up to 25 kg
• Valid certificate of enrollment required
• Available to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during semester breaks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous exposure to an IT service management or mobile device management tool
