Senior Manager MES / Manufacturing Transformation | m/w/d

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential life sciences organization seeking a Senior Manager to lead international MES and Manufacturing Transformation programs. This is a hybrid role offering the opportunity to drive end-to-end program delivery across complex multi-site environments.

You will take ownership of programs from initial setup through governance, solution design, implementation, rollout, go-live, and stabilization. Working across business functions, IT, Quality, manufacturing sites, vendors, and system integrators, you'll provide clear direction during critical phases while managing scope, roadmap, budget, resources, risks, and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of international MES and Manufacturing Transformation programs across multiple sites
• Establish and maintain program governance, ensuring alignment with scope, roadmap, budget, and resource allocation
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business functions, IT, Quality, site operations, vendors, and system integrators
• Manage functional workstreams covering process optimization, harmonization, solution design, system integration, data flows, and data migration
• Support validation activities conceptually at program and project level in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Identify dependencies early and collaborate with technical experts to develop robust solutions
• Drive decision-making during rollout, readiness, and go-live phases while managing escalations effectively
• Represent programs confidently to management, steering committees, and key stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Proven consulting experience leading complex international programs and projects within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry
• Strong knowledge of MES and Manufacturing IT systems
• Hands-on experience with implementation, integration, and multi-site rollout of MES solutions
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and their interfaces with Quality, Automation/OT, ERP/SAP, and related systems
• Solid grasp of GxP, Computerized Systems Validation, and pharmaceutical Quality processes
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into effective program planning, governance, and delivery
• Excellent German and English language skills
• Willingness to travel internationally as required by program needs
• Strong leadership presence with ability to navigate complex global program environments
