Medical Science Liaison – Germany North

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential biopharmaceutical organization seeking a Medical Science Liaison to cover the North Germany region. This remote, field-based role serves as the scientific bridge between our client and the medical community in rare pediatric neurology.

As the MSL, you will:

• Serve as the primary field-based scientific expert and trusted partner for healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders across Germany
• Build and cultivate strategic relationships with national and regional experts in rare pediatric neurological diseases
• Lead scientific exchange on marketed products and pipeline assets, delivering fair, balanced, and compliant medical information to external stakeholders
• Identify, initiate, and drive impactful medical collaborations, including investigator-initiated studies, publications, educational initiatives, and speaker development programs
• Plan, lead, and execute scientific advisory boards, expert meetings, symposia, and educational programs
• Represent the organization at national and international congresses and scientific meetings, proactively identifying scientific trends and emerging data
• Gather, analyze, and communicate actionable field insights on clinical practice, unmet needs, emerging evidence, competitor activities, and stakeholder perspectives
• Partner with patient advocacy organizations to advance disease awareness, education, and patient-centered initiatives across Germany
• Provide timely, accurate, and compliant responses to unsolicited medical information requests
• Deliver impactful medical training and ongoing scientific support to cross-functional teams
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, and international Medical Affairs teams

What We're Looking For

• Advanced scientific or medical degree or related field required
• 2-4 years of relevant industry experience, including 1-2 years in field-based MSL roles in CNS/neuroscience or rare disease
• Proven ability to present complex scientific data clearly and effectively
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and quick to learn, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
• Collaborative, adaptable, and entrepreneurial mindset, embracing diverse perspectives and thriving in cross-cultural teams
• Willingness to travel up to 70%, including participation at international Medical Affairs meetings, team meetings, and attendance at both national and international congresses
• Fluency in German and English required

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €83,000–€103,300 EUR. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonus and equity awards based on individual and organizational performance.
