About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential beauty brand in their search for a Retail Graphic Designer to join their growing creative team. This is a fully remote position based in Germany, offering the chance to work across multiple design formats—from social media and email marketing to packaging and retail displays.

Our client is an established player in the European beauty market with national retail distribution and ambitious growth plans. You'll collaborate closely with art directors, brand, social media, and marketing teams to ensure visual consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Support the design team in creating assets for digital channels, social media, CRM, e-commerce, retail, and print
• Adapt campaign concepts and key visuals into various formats and touchpoints
• Create and check production-ready print files for packaging and displays independently
• Develop visually compelling, brand-consistent layouts, graphics, and product-focused assets
• Determine effective claim placement on packaging, displays, and marketing materials to maximize impact
• Prepare production-ready files for both digital and print applications
• Help maintain and evolve design templates and brand guidelines
• Handle daily design requests while maintaining consistency and attention to detail
• Research visual trends and contribute fresh ideas to campaigns and content

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in graphic or communication design
• Print production expertise (essential): proven ability to create and check production-ready print files for packaging and displays independently and routinely
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellent typography, layout, color, and composition skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Understanding of fundamental print and digital design requirements
• Ability to apply existing brand identity consistently across different formats
• Professional fluency in both German and English
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and openness to constructive feedback
• Reliable, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced team environment
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
• Genuine enthusiasm for design, brands, and visual storytelling

Preferred qualifications:

• Professional experience through internships, freelance projects, or junior roles
• Basic knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, or other motion design tools
• Experience with Figma
• Experience designing for social media, CRM, or e-commerce
• Understanding of print production and packaging design
• Familiarity with AI-powered design tools
• Interest in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and contemporary visual culture
• Good understanding of current social media and design trends
• Confidence bringing your own ideas and asking questions
• Flexibility and hands-on mentality
