About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential engineering consultancy in Berlin seeking a Graduate Engineer in Electrical Engineering to join their multidisciplinary technical planning team. This role offers recent graduates the opportunity to work on modern building and infrastructure projects while developing expertise in building services engineering within an international collaborative environment.

Our talent team is working exclusively with this client to find engineers ready to contribute to sustainable building solutions across power distribution, lighting, security systems, and building automation (cost groups 440, 450, 480).

Responsibilities

• Support planning of electrical systems including power supply, lighting, security, and communication systems for building projects
• Assist with cost planning and cost control activities
• Participate in tender preparation and procurement processes
• Create and maintain BIM models using Revit
• Coordinate with architects, clients, and specialist planners as needed
• Support project leadership across all HOAI service phases
• Contribute to modern building and infrastructure project delivery

What We're Looking For

• University degree, Techniker, or Meister qualification in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
• Specialization in power systems, communications technology, security systems, or building automation preferred
• First professional experience in MEP or electrical planning advantageous
• Basic knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
• Experience with Revit and common planning tools (e.g., Dialux, Relux, Orca AVA, Caneco, or Simaris) desirable
• Interest in BIM and digital planning methods
• Strong communication skills in German; English language skills welcome
• Team-oriented approach with initiative and interest in challenging projects
