E-Commerce Manager

We are representing a confidential consumer nutrition organization in their search for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to drive marketplace growth and profitability. This role is based in Rodenbach, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketplace strategy across major platforms including Amazon, eBay, OTTO, Kaufland, and international channels
• Identify and evaluate new national and international marketplace opportunities
• Manage the complete product lifecycle on marketplaces, optimizing listings for SEO, conversions, and visibility
• Oversee assortment strategy, pricing, promotions, and inventory availability
• Plan and manage advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Display Ads) to optimize ROAS
• Analyze KPIs including revenue, conversion rates, Buy Box performance, advertising metrics, return rates, and margin contribution
• Create business cases, revenue forecasts, and regular management reports
• Ensure data quality and compliance with marketplace guidelines and brand standards
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, marketing, logistics, customer service, and finance teams
• Manage external agencies and marketplace account representatives
• Drive process automation and implement new tools to enhance marketplace performance

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, E-Commerce, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in marketplace management or e-commerce
• Strong knowledge of major marketplace platforms and their business models
• Experience with PIM, ERP, and marketplace management systems
• Proficiency in Excel and BI/analytics tools
• Background in performance marketing and marketplace advertising
• Very good German and English language skills
• Strong analytical and entrepreneurial mindset with high affinity for data
• Strategic thinking combined with operational execution strength
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Team player with high initiative, resilience, and decisiveness
