Senior Business Partner / Financial Controlling (gn) – DACH Region

We are representing a confidential robotics organization based in Hessen, Germany, and we're searching for an accomplished Senior Business Partner / Financial Controlling professional to join their DACH regional team in Friedberg.

Our client is a global innovator developing cutting-edge automation solutions. In this role, you won't simply manage numbers—you'll shape strategy. As a true sparring partner to business leadership, you'll drive economic performance and play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of the business unit.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic business partner to the head of the business unit, providing financial counsel and decision support
• Develop business unit strategy, assess financial impacts, create robust scenarios, and deliver concrete, realistic recommendations
• Translate strategic objectives into measurable business plans and monitor achievement of targets
• Drive business planning, forecasting, and projection processes for your area proactively
• Manage cost structures, increase productivity, and ensure capital efficiency through forward-looking cashflow management
• Ensure reliable financial reporting, establish internal controls (IKS), secure compliance requirements, and minimize business risks
• Analyze and evaluate financial data to present well-founded business alternatives and tailored solutions
• Conduct open and goal-oriented communication with stakeholders at all levels

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or comparable field
• Minimum five years of professional experience in project and corporate controlling, with demonstrated knowledge in risk management
• Solid expertise in project business and the Percentage of Completion (PoC) method
• Proven success in strategically managing complex cost structures, driving sustainable productivity improvements, and ensuring optimal capital allocation
• High sense of responsibility and initiative, combined with a consistently independent and results-oriented working style
• Analytical and structured thinking and communication, attention to detail, and targeted approach—even in high-pressure, multitasking environments
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
