Senior Technical Project Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join their professional services team on a remote basis. Our client delivers enterprise-scale digital platform implementations for global organizations, and this role will lead complex technical projects from scoping through successful delivery.

As the delivery lead, you will coordinate customer stakeholders, technical teams, and project resources while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager who thrives in customer-facing, technically complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and success criteria for platform implementations
• Serve as the primary delivery lead and trusted advisor for customer stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including customer stakeholders, internal technical experts, and project resources
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking budgets, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
• Manage project changes, assess impacts, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays and risks
• Communicate project progress through status reports, governance meetings, and executive updates
• Identify, assess, document, and escalate risks to ensure successful project delivery
• Partner with architects, developers, and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into user stories and implementation decisions

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience gathering requirements, producing technical documentation, and coordinating quality assurance activities
• At least 3 years of experience managing large-scale information technology implementation projects
• Strong understanding of technical challenges associated with implementing cloud-based software solutions and web applications
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, organizational, and communication skills in complex customer-facing environments
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and executive sponsors
• Strong English communication skills for working with customers and stakeholders across North America and global markets

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
• Project management certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent
• Background in web development or software engineering
• Knowledge of enterprise search, indexing technologies, or professional services automation tools
• Experience working in consulting, professional services, or customer implementation environments
