About This Role

We are representing a confidential software development tools organization that is building a next-generation agentic development environment. This is a rare opportunity to join as the third designer on a founding design team, with direct ownership of the web interface and automation experience for a product that is redefining how developers work with AI agents.

You will work directly with engineering to establish design processes, ship features from ambiguous briefs to production, and contribute to an expanding design system. This is a hands-on role where your decisions ship fast and your impact is immediately visible.

Responsibilities

• Design the web interface for team management, automation setup, and results overview experiences
• Establish design review and handoff practices working directly with the automations development team
• Take features from concept through to shipped production interfaces with minimal hand-holding
• Build and maintain components in the shared Figma design system as the product scales
• Prototype using AI tools and code when it accelerates idea validation and feedback
• Participate in cross-functional demos and quarterly planning sessions, bringing design perspective to product direction

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of product design experience with portfolio demonstrating shipped work and business impact
• Strong ownership instinct—you see features through from design to production and consider delivery part of your role
• Excellent cross-team project delivery skills: you clarify ambiguity, define scope, and move projects forward independently
• Active AI tool user who experiments with Cursor, Claude, or similar tools in your design workflow
• Proficient Figma skills including components, tokens/variables, and design system contribution
• Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing developer-focused products, technical tools, IDEs, or data dashboards
• Background in design engineering, code prototyping, or vibe-coding
• Familiarity with AI-native interface patterns: trust signals, human-in-the-loop workflows, error handling at scale
