About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for an Applied AI, Forward Deployed Machine Learning Engineer Intern based in Paris. This is a 6-month internship with potential continuation through a CIFRE program. You'll work directly with applied AI engineering teams to deploy generative AI solutions for enterprise clients across high-stakes industries including finance, manufacturing, healthcare, and the public sector.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the deployment of state-of-the-art generative AI applications, driving technological transformation with enterprise customers
- Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, and product engineers on complex customer projects
- Work with product and science teams to continuously improve capabilities based on customer feedback
- Facilitate adoption of AI products among customers and help address complex technical challenges
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Currently pursuing a degree in AI, data science, or related field from a tier 1 engineering school or university
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and natural language processing techniques
- Basic understanding of MLOps and deploying machine learning use cases
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Work authorization to complete a 6-month internship in France
Preferred:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and Linux shell environment
- Experience working in HPC environments
- Publication record in AI or related field
