What This Role Involves

This position involves the installation and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure through the use of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) techniques. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of drilling operations, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. The role requires a strong focus on precision and quality to meet the demands of telecom networks.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the feasibility of drilling operations.
• Operate HDD drilling equipment to install underground telecom cables and conduits.
• Maintain and inspect drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Perform post-drilling operations, including backfilling and site restoration.
• Document all drilling activities and maintain detailed records for compliance and reporting.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HDD Driller or a similar role in the telecom industry.
• Thorough understanding of Horizontal Directional Drilling techniques and safety protocols.
• Ability to operate and maintain HDD drilling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
