Account Executive – Federal

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for an Account Executive - Federal. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the world, with a focus on driving new business growth within the U.S. Public Sector.

Our client is a global leader in process intelligence technology, helping enterprises optimize operations through advanced analytics and AI-driven insights. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge SaaS solutions while building relationships with federal government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Discover and cultivate new business opportunities within designated federal government accounts
• Establish and strengthen relationships across various organizational levels, engaging with executives and decision-makers
• Understand the strategic and operational requirements of target accounts and articulate how our client's solutions address them
• Guide the complete sales cycle from prospecting through qualification, engagement, proposal, and deal closure
• Collaborate with technical teams to conduct comprehensive presentations and demonstrations tailored to specific use cases
• Build partnerships with consulting firms, technology partners, and system integrators
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including business development, technical engineers, partner managers, and marketing specialists

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of demonstrated success in Software as a Service (SaaS) sales, with experience in both expanding existing business and cultivating new opportunities
• 5+ years of experience selling into federal government agencies
• Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers
• Track record of selling enterprise-level software applications to C-level stakeholders
• Strong business acumen with solid understanding of business processes and KPIs in areas such as Finance and Supply Chain
• Experience collaborating with partners, including consulting firms and enterprise technology solution providers

Pay

The client has indicated a base salary range of $163,000–$193,000 USD for candidates based in the Washington, D.C. area. Total compensation includes base salary, commission, equity, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, life insurance, 401k, and paid time off. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
