Content Designer II, Personalization

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking an early-to-mid career Content Designer to join their Personalization team. In this role, you'll design personalized experiences that help users discover content they'll love while preserving moments of serendipity. You'll work on critical discovery surfaces, helping users understand, navigate, and trust experiences that adapt to their interests and behaviors.

Our client is looking for a thoughtful content designer who understands how language and content strategy can transform complexity into clarity and create meaningful experiences at scale. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere in the world, with occasional in-office collaboration (1-2 times every 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Research, and Data Science teams to shape personalized discovery experiences
• Apply content design and user-centered thinking to create product experiences that help people discover ideas, understand recommendations, and engage with personalized content
• Leverage research, data, and user insights to inform content decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to scalable content frameworks, patterns, and standards that create clear, consistent, and trustworthy personalized experiences
• Create transparent, user-centered experiences by using language to explain why users are seeing content and how they can shape their experience
• Explore and apply emerging AI tools and prompting approaches across the content design process to improve decision quality, craft, and efficiency
• Contribute to the broader Content Design practice by sharing learnings and evolving team best practices

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in user-focused product content design, ideally with experience designing complex, data-informed, or personalized experiences
• A Content Designer who goes beyond individual strings to help shape the content approach for entire features or experiences
• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
• A portfolio demonstrating experience solving product problems through language, content strategy, and collaboration
• A learner and builder mindset with curiosity about emerging AI capabilities and how to apply them to content design workflows
• Bachelor's degree in design, a related field, or equivalent experience
