About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their Search team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cloud-based distributed systems that power AI-driven search infrastructure at massive scale. You'll be joining a remote-first engineering team working on complex challenges involving data indexing, query orchestration, and high-traffic distributed architecture.
This position is based in Paris with flexible work arrangements including fully remote, hybrid, or office-based options.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop search and indexing systems as a key technical contributor
- Own operations for search infrastructure, including participation in an out-of-hours on-call rotation
- Ensure system quality, reliability, and soundness across distributed components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve high-impact production issues
- Share expertise on distributed systems architecture and best practices with the team
- Work within a fully remote team environment with engineers from diverse backgrounds and skill sets
What We're Looking For
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience designing and operating distributed systems in production environments
- Background working with large datasets and high-traffic systems
- Strong commitment to code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Experience working in high-growth environments with significant scale and change
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes

- Experience programming in Go
