Senior AI Engineer – Notebooks

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential observability platform company seeking a Senior AI Engineer to build AI-assisted workflows for their collaborative documentation and analysis product. You will lead the design and delivery of AI-powered product experiences, developing systems that combine deterministic capabilities with LLM-powered features to deliver trustworthy customer outcomes.

In this role, you will:

• Own platforms for analysis workflows and context discovery that help users move from uncertainty to answers
• Develop systems combining product capabilities with LLM technologies to create explainable results
• Partner closely with Product Management to translate customer problems and adoption signals into technical decisions
• Build experiences that enable platform capabilities to operate within third-party AI platforms, agents, and conversational environments
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while establishing AI engineering best practices
• Build and operate reliable backend services in the critical path of customer deployments, including on-call responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Experience with Go, Python, or similar systems programming languages
• Hands-on experience delivering production AI-powered products and customer-facing experiences using LLM technologies
• Strong product mindset with ability to connect technical decisions to customer outcomes and business impact
• Experience building reliable systems that manage model non-determinism through evaluation frameworks, testing strategies, and operational excellence
