About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global travel management organization seeking a Senior Travel Consultant to join their European team. This remote role requires fluency in German and advanced proficiency in Amadeus GDS. Our client serves enterprise customers across multiple countries and is looking for an experienced professional who can deliver exceptional service while working independently.

This is a full-time, remote position based in Germany. Depending on your location within the country, there may be occasional in-office requirements.

Responsibilities

• Search, book, and confirm travel reservations for corporate clients across air, hotel, and ground transportation
• Provide expert consultation on client travel policies and ensure consistent adherence to program guidelines
• Manage all aspects of travel documentation requirements including visas, passports, and regulatory compliance
• Deliver detailed industry information to travelers including fare options, exchange costs, and cancellation penalties
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and strengthen commercial relationships with clients
• Maintain current knowledge of travel industry trends, supplier relationships, and technology platforms
• Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and enhance the travel experience

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Consultant in a corporate or business travel environment
• Advanced skills in Amadeus GDS (required)
• Strong working knowledge of travel industry policies, procedures, and booking processes
• Fluency in German (required) and English; additional European languages such as French or Spanish are a strong advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high service standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when managing complex itineraries
