Head of Finance

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech platform in a search for their Head of Finance. Our client is a profitable, high-growth organization trusted by thousands of businesses to facilitate global payouts. This is a fully remote position open to candidates across LATAM and the USA.

This role sits at the intersection of operational modeling, data-driven strategy, and financial storytelling. Reporting directly to leadership, you'll split your time roughly 75% on core FP&A and 25% on strategic finance. You'll translate complex business operations into clear financial forecasts while building compelling narratives for internal decision-making and external stakeholders.

Because our client is profitable and operates without outside investors, your focus will be on actual business strategy and execution—not investor relations or board presentation prep.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain detailed financial models that capture complex revenue streams, working with Finance and Data teams to document assumptions, outputs, and scenarios
• Drive forecasting and planning processes, keeping financial forecasts updated, accurate, and defensible while automating wherever possible
• Support deal desk activities by helping structure and price complex enterprise deals, working cross-functionally to ensure financial soundness and strategic alignment
• Explore data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities, bringing analytical rigor to business optimization
• Create compelling external financial narratives for strategic partners, vendors, and long-term stakeholders
• Build out the finance function as the organization grows, establishing best practices for financial operations

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years leading finance teams and owning FP&A models at growth-stage startups, with comfort making decisions amid ambiguity
• Strategic finance perspective with ability to tell compelling financial stories beyond just producing numbers
• Deep passion for financial modeling and attention to detail in Excel or similar tools
• Experience pricing and structuring complex enterprise deals, ideally in B2B contexts
• Hands-on involvement in startup transactions (investment or acquisition)
• Natural curiosity and drive to dig into complex problems and data
• Low-ego, high-impact operator excited to do the work directly rather than only delegating

Compensation

Base salary range: $250,000 to $290,000, plus equity. Our client offers 100% covered health insurance (US-based employees), unlimited PTO, 12-16 weeks paid parental leave, and a fully remote work environment.
