Business Development Representative

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential revenue cycle management organization serving independent medical practices across the United States. Our client has experienced exceptional growth and is making their first sales hire to formalize what has been an entirely founder-led sales process. This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to build out the sales function from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound inquiries from practices experiencing billing challenges—qualify leads, understand their operational pain points, and advance them through the sales process
• Work through a substantial backlog of dormant opportunities: closed-lost deals, incomplete submissions, unconverted website visitors, and timing-based follow-ups that represent real untapped revenue
• Activate referral channels through the account management team by systematically asking satisfied clients for introductions
• Own deals end to end from initial contact through signed contract, knowing when to bring in additional resources to move opportunities forward
• Build and maintain an organized pipeline with disciplined follow-up cadences and clear visibility into deal status

What We're Looking For

• 2-3 years of professional experience working directly with medical practices in roles such as business development, office management, practice management, executive support, or medical billing
• Background in dermatology, aesthetics, med spa, cosmetic dentistry, dental service organizations, medical service organizations, or practice management strongly preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills—this is non-negotiable; the role requires rigorous pipeline management and timely follow-through
• Competitive mindset with a habit of tracking your own metrics and iterating on performance
• Persistence and comfort with repetition: you will encounter the same objections, send multiple follow-ups, and experience ghosting as part of the normal sales cycle
• Customer-first mentality with a commitment to client success that extends beyond the initial sale

This is a fully remote position for US-based candidates. You will work directly with the founder on a daily basis, gaining accelerated exposure to business decisions and strategy as you take over critical sales responsibilities.

Pay

Compensation includes competitive base salary plus on-target earnings (OTE) and benefits. Specific figures will be discussed during the screening process based on experience and qualifications.
