Junior Technical Integration Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing fintech organization that provides flexible funding solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Our client partners with banking apps, accounting platforms, and payment providers to embed lending services directly where business owners already work. They're now looking for a Junior Technical Integration Manager to join their Partnerships team in London (hybrid working).

In this role, you'll be the technical bridge between our client and their integration partners. You'll guide partner developers through API implementations, troubleshoot what breaks, and ensure thousands of businesses each month can access funding seamlessly through embedded integrations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to combine technical curiosity with partner-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Master the Lending API end-to-end, becoming the go-to expert on every endpoint, webhook, and failure scenario
• Guide partner engineers from sandbox through to live deployment and ongoing optimizations
• Review partner customer journeys and provide recommendations to improve conversion and funding rates
• Triage live integration issues by tracing through logs and code, working with engineering teams on fixes
• Own the technical relationship with each partner, from their development teams to commercial stakeholders
• Advocate for partner needs internally and push requested features onto the product roadmap
• Build monitoring systems to detect integration degradation before partners report problems
• Analyze integration performance data to identify unreported issues
• Maintain and improve public API documentation to support partner success
• Pitch new API features to partners alongside the commercial team

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Degree in a technical or scientific subject (computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar)
• Understanding of and interest in how APIs work—enough to follow integration logic
• Clear, concise communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Analytical problem-solving approach that identifies root causes, not just symptoms
• Commercial judgment to prioritize problems and partners effectively
• Comfortable using AI tools to investigate, analyze, and accelerate problem-solving

Bonus experience:

• Previous partner-facing or customer-facing technical role
• Experience reading API documentation or debugging integrations (even from side projects)
• Basic coding experience

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £32,500 - £37,500 base salary, plus 20% quarterly OTE bonus.
