Position Summary

As a Food Runner at mar'sel, you'll be the vital link connecting our kitchen to our dining room. This role requires someone energized by fast-paced service, detail-oriented, and genuinely committed to creating seamless guest experiences. You'll handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining the high standards that define our luxury fine dining environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Coordinate the timely delivery of prepared dishes from kitchen to dining tables
• Maintain pristine kitchen and pass areas—cleanliness is non-negotiable
• Memorize dining room table assignments and layouts for quick, accurate service
• Support servers by ensuring orders move smoothly through the kitchen
• Monitor food safety and sanitation protocols at every step
• Assist with table setup, clearing, and resetting between covers
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Handle special requests and accommodate guest needs as they arise

Requirements

• Proven ability to work efficiently in demanding, high-volume environments
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable multitasking and working under pressure
• Understanding of food safety and proper handling standards
• Positive attitude and teamwork mentality
• Availability to work part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
