Graduate Practical Nurse, GPN

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Graduate Practical Nurse (GPN) to join the Belen Center team in Los Trujillos, Valencia County. This is a full-time opportunity to launch your nursing career in a supportive environment undergoing exciting leadership changes and organizational growth.

The Opportunity

The Belen Center is building a revitalized team with fresh leadership and expanded career pathways for nursing professionals. As a Graduate Practical Nurse, you'll work flexible 12-hour shifts—available during day or night rotations. Shift differentials are offered: $2 per hour for evening shifts, $3 per hour for night shifts, and $6 per hour for weekend (Saturday and Sunday) work. The center offers a $15,000 retention bonus and covers relocation expenses, making this an accessible entry point for nurses relocating to the Los Trujillos area. Traveling healthcare professionals are welcome to apply.

What You'll Do

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses and physicians
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment
• Assist with activities of daily living, hygiene, and patient comfort measures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and care documentation
• Respond promptly to patient requests and communication needs

Who We're Looking For

• Current or recent graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with GPN or LPN licensure eligibility
• Strong clinical communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Reliable, compassionate approach to patient-centered care
• Flexibility to work varied shift schedules including nights and weekends
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation to Los Trujillos
