Andy Frain Services is hiring a full-time Retail Security Officer in Palmer, Northampton County to provide professional security and loss prevention services at a retail location in your area.

Role Overview

As a Retail Security Officer with Andy Frain Services, you'll protect valuable assets, ensure customer and employee safety, and maintain a secure retail environment. You'll work directly with store management, local law enforcement, and emergency services to respond to security concerns and prevent loss. This is a hands-on position that requires constant vigilance, quick decision-making, and professionalism at all times. Whether detecting suspicious activity, managing access control, or responding to incidents, your work directly impacts store safety and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned retail areas, including sales floors, stockrooms, and parking facilities
• Monitor customer and employee activity to identify and prevent theft, fraud, or policy violations
• Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, or emergencies following company post orders
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with store management, local police, and fire department personnel
• Document incidents, security observations, and activity reports with accuracy and attention to detail
• Operate security systems, cameras, and loss prevention equipment as trained
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor representing Andy Frain Services

Requirements

• Valid state security guard license or ability to obtain one as required by Pennsylvania law
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clear background check and ability to pass security clearance
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Strong observational abilities and attention to detail
• Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled shifts
