Security Officer

Andy Frain Services is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time position based in Silver Spring, Lancaster County. As a North American security provider, we need vigilant, professional Security Officers to protect our clients' facilities and keep their operations secure and running smoothly.

What This Role Involves

In this full-time Security Officer role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a vigilant presence at assigned client locations throughout Silver Spring and the surrounding area. You'll follow post orders specific to each facility, staying alert to all activity and potential security concerns. Your role is about building trust with customers, collaborating with local law enforcement and fire departments, and demonstrating the professionalism that reflects well on Andy Frain Services and our clients. Every shift matters—your awareness and response can make the difference between a routine day and a potential crisis averted.

Responsibilities

• Execute security protocols and post-specific orders for assigned client locations
• Maintain continuous environmental awareness and monitor facility grounds for suspicious or concerning activity
• Document and report all security incidents, observations, and irregularities
• Build and maintain professional working relationships with property management, tenants, and customers
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and fire departments during emergencies or security events
• Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing Andy Frain Services and client interests
• Respond promptly to emergencies and security breaches according to established protocols

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Current or ability to obtain a valid state security officer license
• Sharp observational skills and the ability to remain focused during extended shifts
• Professional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable transportation and a dependable work attendance record
• Clean background and ability to pass a background check
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
