About This Position
The Associate Director of Admissions and Event Coordinator serves as a key member of Kenyon College's Office of Admissions, reporting directly to senior admissions leadership. In this full-time role, you'll combine strategic event planning expertise with direct student recruitment to support Kenyon's enrollment initiatives. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive at the intersection of admissions operations and campus programming, delivering memorable experiences that attract talented students to our community.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, and execute campus visit programs, open houses, prospective student events, and recruitment initiatives throughout the year
- Manage logistics and operations for all admissions-related events, including scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination
- Build meaningful relationships with prospective students and families through direct engagement at events and campus tours
- Collaborate with admissions counselors, academic departments, and student affairs to create cohesive, engaging campus experiences
- Maintain comprehensive event calendars, tracking, analysis, and documentation to support enrollment goals
- Contribute to admissions outreach through digital communications and event promotion
