Kenyon College is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Part-Time Assistant Men's & Women's Tennis Coach to join our athletics staff in Gambier, Knox County. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated tennis professional to support a competitive NCAA Division III program.
About the Role
As the Part-Time Assistant Men's & Women's Tennis Coach at Kenyon College, you will play a hands-on role in developing student-athletes and contributing to the success of both the men's and women's tennis programs. This is a part-time position and does not include benefits. The coach works closely with the coaching staff to deliver a high-quality, NCAA Division III athletic experience in Gambier, Knox County.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the men's and women's tennis programs across a range of coaching and administrative duties.
- Support practices, training sessions, and match-day preparation for student-athletes.
- Carry out all duties in full alignment with NCAA, North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), and Kenyon College policies, rules, and regulations.
- Contribute to the athletic and personal growth of student-athletes within a Division III environment.
Qualifications
- A strong knowledge of competitive tennis, including instruction, strategy, and player development.
- A clear understanding of and commitment to compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and institutional regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with student-athletes and coaching staff.
- A genuine commitment to the academic and athletic mission of an NCAA Division III institution.
