Business Services Lead

Dynamic Workforce Solutions is hiring a Business Services Lead to establish and strengthen employer partnerships in Ashburn Park, Cook County. This is a full-time, exempt position based in the Chicago Cook County Partnership Workforce Development Area.

About the Role

As Business Services Lead, you'll take the helm of strategic employer engagement initiatives that connect businesses with workforce development resources. Working under the guidance of the Project Director, you'll coordinate comprehensive business services that build lasting relationships with regional employers, support economic growth, and expand career pathways for job seekers across the Chicago area. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership in the workforce development sector.

Core Duties

• Develop and nurture relationships with employers across diverse industries in Cook County
• Design and execute employer engagement strategies aligned with regional workforce needs
• Coordinate business services delivery across American Job Center locations, including Olive Harvey AJC and Daley AJC
• Provide direct leadership and mentorship to the business services team
• Identify employer hiring needs and connect them with available training and talent resources
• Collaborate with the Project Director and key stakeholders to establish strategic priorities
• Develop and maintain employer partnership agreements and service delivery plans
• Monitor program outcomes and refine strategies to maximize employer satisfaction and placement success

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams or significant initiatives
• Knowledge of workforce development, employment services, or business services operations
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strategic planning and project management expertise
• Experience navigating partnership ecosystems and cross-organizational collaboration
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in workforce development, business administration, or related field
