Role Overview
As a Travel Emergency Room RN with Anders Group, you'll deliver high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The position runs for 13 weeks beginning July 21, 2026, with a schedule of 36 hours per week across 12-hour rotating shifts. This travel nursing role combines the flexibility of assignment-based work with the stability of a full-time commitment.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessment and triage in the ED
- Administer medications, intravenous therapy, and emergency treatments
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to clinical changes
- Maintain detailed, accurate medical records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff
- Provide compassionate patient and family communication during high-stress situations
- Respond to emergent and critical patient needs with clinical skill and composure
Who We're Looking For
- Current RN license in Oregon or compact state reciprocity
- Proven experience in emergency department nursing
- Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to a new environment and work autonomously
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to patient-centered care
