Business Systems Administrator (IT)

Role Overview

As our Business Systems Administrator, you will be the cornerstone of our IT infrastructure, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the systems that enable our team to deliver exceptional hospice care. You will partner directly with department leads and end users to identify needs, implement solutions, and ensure reliable technology performance. This role combines hands-on technical problem-solving with strategic planning to keep our business systems running smoothly and securely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize business system performance across the organization
• Respond to user issues and provide technical support to resolve system problems efficiently
• Collaborate with system owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and implement improvements
• Manage user access, accounts, and security protocols to protect organizational data
• Coordinate software updates, patches, and system upgrades with minimal operational disruption
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for organizational knowledge
• Support hardware deployment and equipment lifecycle management

Qualifications

• Strong technical foundation in business systems administration, IT support, or a related field
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux server environments
• Experience managing network infrastructure and user authentication systems
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity principles
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Self-motivated approach with strong problem-solving capabilities
