About This Position

As a Graduate Nurse at Parkersburg Care Center, you'll provide direct patient care in our long-term care facility while gaining valuable clinical experience under supervision. This full-time position offers the opportunity to apply your nursing knowledge, develop clinical skills, and contribute to improving residents' health and well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including vital signs monitoring, wound care, and activities of daily living assistance
• Administer medications under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members
• Respond promptly to patient needs and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with patient hygiene, comfort measures, and infection control practices
• Support nursing staff in delivering person-centered care aligned with facility policies

Skills & Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in your state
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's degree)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based care environment
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
• Physical ability to perform patient care duties, including standing, lifting, and mobility assistance
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally
