Facility Coordinator

JLL is hiring a Facility Coordinator to join our Chicago, Cook County office on a full-time basis. This is your opportunity to manage the operations, maintenance, and day-to-day coordination of a dynamic real estate workspace.

The Opportunity

As a Facility Coordinator at JLL, you'll be the operational backbone of our workplace. You'll oversee everything from vendor relationships and building maintenance to space utilization and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in ensuring that our offices run smoothly and safely every single day. You'll work closely with facilities management, office teams, and external contractors to deliver an exceptional workplace experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements to keep our workspace in top condition
• Manage vendor contracts and service schedules, including HVAC, cleaning, security, and janitorial services
• Monitor building systems, utilities, and compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
• Schedule and organize office meetings, events, and space allocations
• Track facility budgets, manage purchase orders, and maintain cost-effective operations
• Respond to facility-related requests and concerns from office occupants
• Conduct regular inspections and maintain detailed facility documentation

Who We're Looking For

• Experience coordinating facility operations or managing building maintenance
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with building systems, maintenance procedures, and workplace safety standards
• Proficiency with facility management software and basic office technology
• Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant facility management certification is a plus
