Practice Leader – Land Development

Kimley-Horn seeks an experienced Practice Leader to lead and grow our Land Development practice in Portland, Multnomah County. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Land Development team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth
• Develop and execute business strategy to expand the practice and identify new market opportunities in the region
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their evolving needs and delivering tailored solutions
• Establish and maintain high standards of integrity and sound business practices across all operations
• Provide vision and strategic direction for the practice's service delivery and growth trajectory
• Oversee project quality and ensure consistent client satisfaction and retention

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in land development, planning, or a related engineering or design discipline
• Track record of successfully managing client relationships and business development within land development or related industries
• Strong business acumen and ability to develop strategic plans and drive financial performance
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethical practices, and professional standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
• Established professional network and reputation in Portland or the Pacific Northwest region (preferred)
