Position Summary
We're seeking a Licensed Architect/Architectural Designer to take ownership of architectural projects from concept through completion. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of architectural projects, from schematic design through construction documentation
- Prepare comprehensive construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents using industry-standard tools

- Conduct site analysis and assessments to inform design decisions and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and present design concepts that communicate vision and project rationale to clients and stakeholders
- Apply knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and zoning regulations to project planning
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining design quality and team collaboration
What You Bring
- Valid professional architectural license (Maine or reciprocal credential)
- Proven experience in architectural design, construction administration, and client engagement
- Proficiency with CAD, BIM software (Revit), and contemporary design tools
- Deep understanding of building codes, sustainable design principles, and accessibility standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting ideas to diverse audiences
- Ability to balance creative problem-solving with technical precision and practical constraints
