Join Slim Chickens as a Closing Cook in Skyland, Tuscaloosa County, where you'll ensure the kitchen shines every night and maintain the high standards our customers expect. This is a full-time position working the night shift to close down our kitchen operations with precision and pride.

The Opportunity

As our Closing Cook, you'll be the last line of quality control, responsible for completing end-of-shift operations that set us up for success the next day. This role is perfect for someone who takes ownership of their station and understands that closing well is just as important as opening well. You'll work independently during quieter periods while collaborating with your closing team to maintain our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute thorough closing procedures across all kitchen equipment, ensuring everything is cleaned, maintained, and ready for the next shift
• Maintain and service cooking equipment, including fryer maintenance and deep cleaning to company standards
• Manage dish washing and sanitization protocols to ensure food safety compliance
• Execute detailed floor and workspace cleaning to leave the kitchen in pristine condition
• Prepare food products to quality specifications using strict food safety and handling procedures
• Monitor inventory and report any equipment issues or supply needs to management
