Asset & Wealth Management – Tax Senior Manager

PwC is hiring an Asset & Wealth Management - Tax Senior Manager for our Atlanta, Fulton County office to lead sophisticated tax advisory work for high-net-worth clients and financial services entities. As a full-time member of our Financial Services Tax team within Corporate Tax services, you'll shape tax strategies that drive client value while managing regulatory complexity and business impact.

Position Summary

In this senior manager role within PwC's Asset & Wealth Management practice, you'll serve as a trusted tax advisor to sophisticated clients navigating complex financial structures and wealth management decisions. Your work will span strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, with the goal of helping clients minimize tax burden while maintaining strong governance and regulatory alignment. You'll manage client relationships, lead cross-functional projects, and mentor junior team members as we tackle multi-jurisdictional tax challenges across the wealth management sector.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead tax strategy development and planning engagements for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional wealth management clients
• Provide ongoing tax advisory services, addressing regulatory changes and evolving business developments
• Manage all aspects of complex client engagements, from scoping through delivery and reporting
• Oversee tax compliance matters and ensure adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements
• Mentor junior staff and support the development of team capabilities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and value-added insights
• Identify opportunities for service expansion and cross-selling within the asset management sector

Requirements

• CPA or equivalent professional tax credential required; LLM or advanced tax designation preferred
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience in a Big 4 firm, national tax practice, or similar environment
• Demonstrated expertise in individual and entity-level tax planning for wealth management clients
• Strong understanding of family office structures, partnership taxation, and investment vehicle taxation
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to clients and internal stakeholders
• Project management and client relationship management experience
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for client engagements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or related field
