Health Brokerage Manager

AmeriLife in Coral Springs, Broward County is seeking a full-time Health Brokerage Manager to oversee health insurance brokerage operations and support our growing network of brokers and agents in this dynamic sector.

What This Role Involves

As Health Brokerage Manager at AmeriLife, you'll be central to our mission of delivering health insurance and retirement planning solutions to brokers, agents, and their clients. You'll manage day-to-day brokerage operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic support to brokers as they grow their practices.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee health insurance broker relationships and provide ongoing operational support
• Process, review, and ensure accuracy of health plan applications and documentation
• Monitor brokerage performance and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
• Ensure all brokerage activities meet federal and state insurance regulations and company standards
• Train and mentor brokers and support staff on product features, compliance, and best practices
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems for brokers and their clients
• Maintain detailed records and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in health insurance brokerage, sales, or related operations
• Strong knowledge of health insurance products, regulations, and the brokerage industry
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with brokers and partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with CRM or brokerage management software (preferred)
