About the Role

As a Career Coach, you'll serve as a trusted mentor and advocate for participants navigating their career transitions. You'll combine strategic career counseling with hands-on job readiness support to help individuals overcome employment barriers and achieve sustainable career success. This is a full-time position where your expertise will directly impact lives in the Indianapolis area.

What You'll Do

• Manage and support a diverse participant caseload, delivering individualized career coaching and employment mentoring
• Assess participants' competencies, work history, educational background, transferable skills, and specific barriers to employment
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings focused on job search strategy, job retention skills, and work readiness development
• Create customized employment plans that identify career goals, skill gaps, and actionable pathways to employment
• Provide ongoing support throughout the job search process and post-placement to ensure long-term employment stability
• Connect participants with resources, training opportunities, and community partners that strengthen their candidacy

What We're Looking For

• Passion for career development and a demonstrated ability to motivate and coach individuals toward employment goals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with diverse populations
• Experience in career counseling, workforce development, job coaching, or related employment support services
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments, identify root causes of employment barriers, and develop practical solutions
• Excellent organizational skills and capability to manage multiple cases and track participant progress
• Knowledge of job market trends, skills development, and local employment resources in the Indianapolis area
