About the Role

As an RN in Ambulatory Care at Ohio State Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, supporting patients across the continuum of their care journey. This part-time position is based on-site in San Margherita, Franklin County, Ohio.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, document findings, and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
• Triage patient calls and in-person visits, prioritizing acuity and coordinating timely follow-up
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, post-visit instructions, and preventive health strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams — including physicians, medical assistants, and care coordinators — to ensure seamless outpatient care delivery
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Uphold compliance with clinical policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Ohio, or compact license eligibility
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in ambulatory care, outpatient, or primary care nursing strongly preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume patient schedule while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
