Youth Client Support Provider

Pawnee Mental Health seeks a compassionate, full-time Youth Client Support Provider to work alongside families and young people in Manhattan, Riley County. In this role, you'll provide direct support to children and adolescents receiving behavioral health services, helping them navigate clinic care and build positive connections during their treatment journey.

What This Role Involves

You'll work on the frontlines of youth mental health care at a community behavioral health clinic, building trust with young clients and their families while assisting our clinical team. Your role is to create a welcoming environment, help youth feel heard and supported, and coordinate care logistics so families can focus on healing. You'll bridge communication between clients, families, and behavioral health professionals, serving as a reliable resource for questions, guidance, and encouragement.

What You'll Do

• Welcome youth and families to appointments and help them prepare for sessions
• Support intake processes and gather background information as directed
• Answer questions and provide clear, compassionate guidance on clinic services
• Help explain treatment plans so families understand next steps
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain client records securely
• Respond promptly to client concerns and escalate issues to clinicians appropriately
• Work within our team-based care model, collaborating with counselors and therapists

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Genuine interest in mental health support and youth development
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and nonjudgmental with young people
• Comfort working with individuals from varied backgrounds and experiences
• Reliable attendance and professional conduct in a healthcare setting
• Commitment to learning HIPAA privacy standards and clinic policies
