Assistant Kitchen Manager Hiring

StaffedUp is hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager for our Brunswick, Medina County location. In this full-time role, you'll support kitchen operations while helping lead a team dedicated to maintaining food quality and safety standards every day.

What This Role Involves

As Assistant Kitchen Manager, you'll be instrumental in the daily execution of kitchen operations. Working alongside kitchen leadership, you'll oversee food preparation quality, guide team performance, manage workflow efficiency, and ensure our kitchen runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards for food safety and health compliance.

Your Responsibilities

• Supervise and support kitchen staff in their daily duties
• Train new kitchen team members on procedures, techniques, and company standards
• Coordinate food preparation and plating to meet quality expectations
• Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as needed
• Enforce food safety protocols and health code compliance throughout the kitchen
• Identify opportunities to improve kitchen efficiency and team productivity
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment for the kitchen team

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in kitchen management or food service supervision
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff
