Finishing Technician

Astound Group Llc is hiring a Finishing Technician to join our Paint Department at our Sunrise Manor, Clark County location. This is a full-time position where you'll take ownership of finishing operations—from surface preparation through final quality inspection—ensuring every product meets exacting client specifications and company standards.

Role Overview

As a Finishing Technician, you'll execute precision finishing work across a range of projects. Your core focus is applying protective and decorative coatings, maintaining equipment in peak condition, and upholding the quality standards that define our work. You'll work hands-on in a production environment where technical skill and attention to detail directly impact client satisfaction and product integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and masking, to ready materials for coating application
• Operate spray equipment and hand-apply coatings using proper techniques to achieve uniform, defect-free finishes
• Conduct thorough equipment maintenance and cleaning to extend equipment life and ensure consistent performance
• Inspect completed work against project specifications and company quality benchmarks before handoff
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols and environmental compliance standards
• Document work completion, material usage, and any issues encountered during production
