Role Overview
We're recruiting an experienced CT Technologist to deliver diagnostic imaging services at a healthcare facility in Country Park Acres. As a travel healthcare professional, you'll perform computed tomography scans, maintain equipment, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams. This 13-week contract includes a standard 40-hour work week with 8-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scanning procedures following established protocols and quality standards
- Prepare and educate patients on the imaging process, addressing concerns and ensuring compliance
- Monitor patient vital signs and maintain comprehensive imaging records
- Troubleshoot and maintain CT scanning equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Communicate findings and technical observations to radiologists and nursing staff
- Adhere to safety regulations, infection control procedures, and radiation protection standards
