About This Position

The Laboratory Assistant Outreach role at HCA Healthcare offers the opportunity to support one of the nation's leading healthcare providers' laboratory operations while engaging directly with patients and communities. Your part-time schedule runs Monday through Friday from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with every other weekend and rotating holiday assignments built in. Working in our Sunrise, Broward County laboratory setting, you'll collaborate with laboratory professionals, contribute to diagnostic excellence, and help advance our Laboratory Services mission of delivering quality care and dependable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Support laboratory operations and assist laboratory professionals with daily procedures and tasks
• Engage with patients and community members as part of structured outreach programs and initiatives
• Help maintain laboratory quality standards and contribute to accurate specimen management
• Support laboratory efficiency and assist with diagnostic and analytical support
• Participate in community health education and laboratory outreach program activities
• Follow laboratory protocols and safety standards consistently
