Project Manager

Liberty is hiring a full-time Project Manager in Hewlett, Nassau County, to help drive the delivery of critical energy and water infrastructure initiatives across one of North America's leading utility groups.

About the Role

As a Project Manager at Liberty, you will coordinate the planning and execution of utility projects from initiation through completion, working on-site in Hewlett, Nassau County. This is an opportunity to apply your project leadership skills within Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp. (AQN), Liberty's parent organization, supporting reliable and cost-effective energy and water solutions for customers throughout the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of utility projects, keeping scope, schedule, and budget aligned.
• Develop detailed project plans, track milestones, and report progress to stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to meet project objectives.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion safe, dependable, and cost-conscious practices in line with Liberty's standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects, ideally within the utility, energy, or infrastructure sector.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and deliver results on schedule and within budget.
• Comfortable working on-site in Hewlett, Nassau County (this position is not remote).
